Appearance:
General Leonard Kilvas is a tall, imposing man with wizened looks well past his years. His ice blue eyes hold the wisdom of ages, due to long years in Leongarde’s military. His trademark gray mane of hair falls near his shoulders, but in recent campaigns he’s kept it in a tight ponytail to keep it from getting in his way. He may be old, but tight muscles still line his body from head to toe, completing his already intimidating persona. He also has perfect posture, which keeps him at an even 6’2”.
Weapons/Equipment:
Kilvas wields the Lion’s Fang, an unenchanted longsword of nearly perfect make. He also holds a shield of similar make, Ko’Rhas’s Bulwark, etched with Leongarde’s insignia on its face. His armor is traditional steel, with little embellishment.
He rides into battle on a white stallion he named Vigilance, a horse that he’s ridden since his glory days in Leongarde. The horse, almost as old as he is in horse years, seems to hold as much intelligence as his rider.
Abilities/Skills:
Kilvas is a typical man in regards to the abilities of the Rune Age. He has foregone most of the enhancements the Soul Orbs have offered in favor of honing his mortal skills and intelligence. He is a master of strategy, bringing in tactics that have been forgotten by the newer Generals of the Rune Age. An expert on the defensive or the offensive, Kilvas is always ready to lead his men to victory.
Background/History:
A relic of an age long past, Kilvas was born 45 long years ago in Leongarde. He was squired at a young age and joined the Leongardian military as soon as he could. He rose the ranks impressively and led as a General until he was 40 years old, retiring honorably.
It was at the onset of the Rune Age that King Reinard called General Kilvas out of retirement to help lead Leongarde out of a tight spot.
Goal:
Simply to see his homeland survive this hellish war.
